Andrew Kingdom has spent much of his life exploring the outdoors. Growing up in the Scout Association through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, Andrew would begin his training and love for the outdoors.

After graduating from the University of Lincoln, Andrew would find his passion for the outdoors, slowly building his skills through practice and painful error. His full time work has given him opportunities to develop as a navigator and leader in Lowland Terrain including with the highlight for teaching the Land Navigation Advisors course at the Royal School of Military Survey.

His instructional experience as meant he has worked with a wide variety of different students with different abilities. Ranging from children, inexperienced adults and even to the public sector including emergency services and armed forces, Andrew is always willing to teach anyone willing to learn.

Always keen to keep busy, Andrew is an active member of Buckinghamshire Search and Rescue. Here he helps the team in its work of searching for missing people when called upon. This is also matched with his time as a Community First Responder for the Ambulance Service. Andrew can also be found trekking round the Chilterns or a good mountain further afield.
